A DYNAMOMETER WITH NO COMPROMISES

The W4-X is designed with one philosophy; No Compromises. This Dyno is built for the most demanding. High power, high speed, superior materials and build quality it’s all there. Its 800mm drums guarantee a smooth drive with a maximum grip due to its Tungsten Carbide coating. The two powerful, air cooled, retarders can absorb an impressive 4900Nm of torque. The 4 spindle operated length adjustment covers between 2000mm to 3500mm in wheelbase, the longest available in the industry! And last but not least, the impressive drive line that ensures a flawless synchronization of all 4 wheels at all times, independent of the vehicle on top.  

The W4-X is designed using 3D-CAD and FEM analysis to make sure it can deal with the high power and speed it’s intended for. With laser alignment by SKF, balancing on our own Schenck balancing machine, vibrations are reduced to a minimum. This assures very accurate measurement and virtually maintenance free operation. Assembled by hand by a small but very skilled group of professionals, quality is built in its DNA!

As an option, Dynostar can fit the W4-X with a 55kW electric motor and inverter. This in conjunction with our own DriveSym / Drive Cycle software it’s possible to run the pre-programmed drive cycles or even one programmed by yourself.
