THE ULTIMATE MOTORCYCLE DYNO

The Dynostar Model D70 and D70Ti are the ultimate tools for tuning and diagnostic activities! They are both available as “above ground” and as “pit” model. Standard equipped with a high inertia drum, this dyno can measure up to 465 kW dynamically and speeds up to 325 km/h. The powerful, air-cooled eddy current brake (max. 1200Nm) allows the dynamometer to absorb up to 355 kW (with cold eddy current brake). To guarantee optimum grip the rollers are grooved or optionally treated with tungsten carbide coating.

The Model D70 is a highly accurate dynamometer. Based on a stiff tubular steel frame with machined bearing posts and G6,3 balancing class, the dynamometer runs free of vibration.

The Dynostar D70Ti has the same design as the model 70 but is equipped with a 3-piece drum. This allows the operator to adjust the inertia of the drum to the vehicle tested. This makes the dynamometer more versatile and suitable for testing from small motorcycles to the most powerful available and beyond.

 

D70-E Electric edition

Recently Dynostar has added the D70-E to the D70 range. This dyno is suitable for running all types of drive cycles for example: WLTP, NEDC etc. These drive cycles are incorporated within our ADS software for optimal results. It has the possibility to test regenerative braking and coast down calibration. It's provided with an 18,5 kW electric motor.

Model M70

The Dynostar Model M70 is a mobile roller chassis dynamometer with an eddy current brake which can be used anywhere for tuning or diagnostic work. The dynamometer is fitted with a special frame which is suitable for using it on the public road. The Dynostar Model M70 weighs around 1170 Kg, is fitted with a run-up brake and can be towed by a car.

The Dynostar Model M70 is technically identical to the Dynostar Model 70. It can absorb dynamic power up to 465 kW and speeds up to 325 km/h. A powerful, air-cooled eddy current brake allows the dynamometer to absorb power up to 355 kW (with cold eddy current brake). We can guarantee you optimum grip because the rollers are grooved as standard and optionally treated with tungsten carbide.
